According to data collected by alternative media outlet The Federalist from the Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), around 95 percent of the riots that occurred over the summer have links back to the Black Lives Matter movement due to the presence of the organization’s known members in those events.
The ACLED recorded 12,045 individual incidents of civil unrest that occurred in the U.S. between May 26 – the day George Floyd died – and Sept. 5. Of these, 633 were officially coded by the project as riots because they involved some form of violence, such as rioting and looting. The ACLED also including the riots that resulted in a total of 47 fatalities.
Of these 633 incidents, 88 percent of them involved known members or affiliates of the Black Lives Matter movement, and the project was unable to verify the identities of the perpetrators in 51 incidents. When the project took out the 51 incidents for which they did not have enough information, they found that 95 percent of the remaining riots involved activists from the Black Lives Matter movement. It should be noted that in the case of the riots in Portland, Oregon, the ACLED blames the arrival of federal law enforcement officers for the escalation of tensions. The Federalist’s Joy Pullman rebuts this claim:
“The cause of violence is not the police. It is not poverty. It is not one’s race. to say so is in fact a smear against poor people and people of the racial group identified. The cause of violence is the people who have chosen to be violent. Rather than assigning responsibility for violence to those who engage in it, the report constantly pushes the criminal victimization narrative that the rioters are not to blame for their rioting. This is abuser psychology 101: The abuser is never responsible for his or her abuse. The people who might object to it are. This is also false and manipulative.”
Pullman also points out how ludicrous it is for the ACLED to claim that police officers standing behind barricades defending themselves as well as the life and property of others with crowd control munitions like rubber bullets, flashbangs and tear gas is “disproportionate use of force.” The project has said nothing of the variety of weapons and tactics used by violent Black Lives Matter and Antifa mobs, such as arson, blinding officers with lasers, tearing down barricades with assorted weapons such as clubs and baseball bats, destroying public buildings, throwing fireworks and incendiary bombs and murder.
Listen to this episode of the Health Ranger Report, a podcast by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, and learn all about how the Black Lives Matter movement is not an organization that promotes racial equality, as they claim, but is in fact a movement that is rooted in the racial supremacy and superiority of African Americans. This also means that BLM is also rooted in anti-White racism, and in the advocacy of White genocide.
According to data gathered from insurance organizations and risk assessment companies, early estimates show that the cost of all the Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioting will surpass the cost of the Rodney King riots of Los Angeles in 1992.
The Property Claim Services of Verisk Analytics, a data gathering and risk assessment firm, shows that insured losses from the Rodney King riots reached $775 million, or $1.4 billion in 2020 dollars.
Janet Ruiz, director of strategic communications for the trade association the Information Insurance Institute, the cost of the Black Lives Matter riots will dwarf that amount.
“This will be a bigger event than the L.A. riots given the volume of locations that had losses around the country,” said Ruiz. “It’s shaping up to look like it could be in the hundreds of millions. The insurance industry is prepared financially to handle these claims.”
While the insurance industry expects to shell out hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance claims, residents of cities plagued by riots can expect to pay close to similar amounts in the form of taxes thanks to the costs incurred by local and state governments to fight back against the rioters and the damage they cause. This includes overtime and hazard pay for emergency workers like police officers, firefighters and EMTs.
It should also be noted that Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters are causing all of this costly destruction to private and public property during a time when state and local government resources are being drained due to the economic impact of the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
According to a poll conducted by the Pew Research Center, support for the Black Lives Matter movement has dropped by 12 percentage points since June, although support for the domestic terrorist organization remains strong among the African American community.
Back in June, the Pew Research Center’s polls found that 67 percent of U.S. adults supported the Black Lives Matter movement. When the same survey was conducted in September, that number had reduced to 55 percent.
The survey found that racial background and partisan affiliation affected how they perceive the movement.
Eighty-seven percent of African Americans support the movement, compared to just 69 percent of Asian Americans (down from 75 percent), 66 percent of Hispanic Americans (down from 77 percent), and just 45 percent of White Americans (down from 60 percent).
However, it should be noted that “strong” support for the movement among the African American population has dropped significantly. Even though 87 percent expressed some kind of support for the movement, only 62 percent said they “strongly” supported it, compared to 71 percent back in the June survey.
Among Democrats and people who lean Democrat, support for the movement also decreased from 92 to 88 percent. For Republicans and people who lean Republican, support dropped drastically from 37 to 16 percent.
The partisan divide can also be seen when race is added as another factor. Eighty-eight percent of White Democrats expressed some kind of support for the Black Lives Matter movement, compared to just 16 percent of White Republicans. Fifty-one percent of White Democrats said they strongly supported the movement, while only a mere two percent of White Republicans have expressed similar levels of support.
The decrease in support for Black Lives Matter can be attributed to the violence they are repeatedly escalating across the country, from the attacks on property owners like Mark and Patricia McCloskey in St. Louis, Missouri who were forced to point their firearms at BLM demonstrators who were attempting to intrude upon their private property to attacks on patriotic heroes like Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who was forced to shoot at three Antifa and Black Lives Matter assailants in Kenosha, Wisconsin in a brave act of self-defense.
